Interesting to read in that article on Ryan Kirby about how he took it upon himself to learn product photography.

I think I'm just going to buy a couple of lights, make some boards and just start clicking. Probably do my lad's toys or something.

I've just bought a new camera and would love to get into product photography. Seemingly the only thing photographers do round here is weddings though.
