Re: Illustrator CC 2015

Here's an update on GPU performance on Adobe Illustrator CC 2015.

Many people continue to have problems with artifacting and anti-aliasing with GPU Rendering on.

Re: Flash for animation

I've used Flash for a few things over the last couple of years, and used the Swiffy extension by Google to export as HTML5.

It worked well for me... no problems converting the artwork, animation or ActionScript code. I think Swiffy may have a file size limit, though that may have changed.

Illustrator CC 2015

Adobe just released Illustrator CC 2015:
https://helpx.adobe.com/illustrator/usi ... s-new.html

The feature I'm most interested in is GPU support. This leverages your graphics card to speed up rendering, zooming, panning and scrolling.

Anyone subscribed to CC? How's the performance?

Re: New Work

Thanks Matt— That was actually a school project, so I only had what reference material I could find online, and in 2006 that wasn't too much. A friend had a bit of info on the engine, a Pratt & Whitney PW100, so the drawing started as a De Havilland Dash 8. After some sketches to explore possible vi...

Re: Has anyone used Kevin Hulsey's vector nut and bold libra

The 30° or 35° should work in an isometric drawing (technically an isometric ellipse is 35 degrees and 16 minutes). The others should work fine in any parallel or perspective system. Just use the one that looks right and rotate it to align the minor axis towards the vanishing point. No skewing neces...
