oh nice trainning for CATIA is a great opportunity, I haven't been that lucky. When I was in San Diego during some downtime I was lucky enought that the community college I was going to held one Solidworks course and even then the professor there said that the course was on a thin line barely hangin...

it looks as though someone used the ADOBE line of softeares as a starting point. Photshop and illustrator interface meshed together. Must be a Rogue developer or developers from Adobe
