Most Complex Illustration

Great work, everyone!

During college I wanted to see how far I could go on a drawing. I was privy to all the reference I could ask for on an ALRV, a Canadian-made streetcar. I never finished, but here are some screencaps. The artboard is 24"x12" and the strokes are 0.125pt.

My work is nothing in comparison to the level that all of you have pulled off. I am very impressed and inspired by all of the work I've seen thus far. Here is a link to my blog with the P-51 Mustang ghosted view I did in Adobe Illustrator. Most of my rant on it is on the blog, but I really wish I had better reference than what I found. The P-51 has lots of reference on the web... the only issue is that there are so many variants that not even the framework was the same in certain versions. Most photos didn't even bother to say which variant it was of. I'd much rather be provided reference by a client (thankfully this was just a self promotion piece) or take reference of my own just so I can get it as accurate as I can. Also, this illustration was the first time I used the mesh tool in Illustrator with the opacity mask to achieve the fade outs. There is much I'd still like to do and fix on this, but there is much more I need to be doing and working on right now to prepare for getting work. Hope you like it.

@Steven Finding adequate reference for promo/personal projects is always the biggest hurdle. Great work!
