I am looking for a technical illustrator to create a 1960's style camera illustration I can use in print and on my website.
Here is an example... http://www.bolexcollector.com/images/ep ... 0ad013.jpg (top image)
Do you know a good place to find such and illustrator and what a decent rate for this illustration would be?
Thanks so much, Joe

James,
This is incredibly helpful! Please do post any offers if you have them that you might not want to or be able to take up. This was one feature I was hoping someday would be added to this site (just to be able to have another outlet to find work- there are several out there, but more outlets always help :D )

Hi Steven,

I got asked by one of my clients to try some vector graphic illustrations (story board/retro) of the type you can do and just confirmed last night that this is not where my talents lay. I just wanted to let you know that I thought of you and passed your name and web address along. Hopefully they will make contact, but I can't make any promises. I included your avatar in my reply to them, which I think is exceptional. http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_2_LPLnVUOFg/T ... Small1.jpg

I like this idea as well. I am always looking for smaller projects to fill my limited time...when not being a full time dad. Definitely looking for more line art / Illustrator work, heck even some graphic design if necessary. I worked in print packaging for too many years and would not turn away that sort of thing if it came my way.
