I have worked with Tungsten Advertising before and they are a great company to work with. Mark Perini at Stature Suiting is looking for someone to illustrate assets for a virtual custom suit design tool:

I need a graphic designer/illustrator that could illustrate a life-like suit for the customizer on the site. So they would need to build all original images that could be layered on as the customers pick options. So we would need a base image then all the options on top that could be taken away or put on.

Mastery of Illustrator and Photoshop is a must, along with the ability to render in axonometric and perspective views. Typical subject matter: Chemistry, Physics, Engineering. The Technical Illustrator/Graphic Designer will support Business Development (BD) and Program Management (PM) functions under the direction of a Vice President or Director of Business Development for a particular SNC business area. Their primary area of responsibility is the design and preparation of high quality, professional looking, and artistic presentation materials for product brochures, marketing presentations, graphics for formal proposals, and presentations for important customer reviews and meetings. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Design, layout, and draw professional looking graphs, charts, signs, 3D product presentations, brochure layouts, animated slide presentations, marketing booth layouts, and other company presentation materials using as a minimum Adobe CS2, Flash, Lightwave, and Visio graphics application programs. Create presentations, spreadsheets and tables using PowerPoint, Excel, and Word. Support all other Business Development and Program Management presentation document development as required.
REQ.
BS/BA minimum in related discipline
Working knowledge of most graphics design application programs
Strong illustration experience/free hand drawing.
Presentation application programs such as Adobe/PowerPoint
Working knowledge of Word and Excel applications
Must be able create 3D renderings of mechanical and electronic products, and complex graphics art work involving figures, parts, vehicles, and aircraft.
Military/defense graphics/presentation experience required.

General Atomics (GA) Electomagnetic Systems Group in San Diego is looking for technical illustrators with IsoDraw experience.

Knowledge of 3D modeling and animation a big plus. All work must be performed at GA in San Diego.

Responsibilities / Duties
Authoring:
Responsible for the creation of solid models of objects/components/assemblies and associated two dimensional illustrations for use in SGML/ XML publishing environment for technical manuals involving military equipment and commercial/private sector products
Responsible to ensure that all solid models and illustrations created, conform to the
SGML/XML, S1000D specification, the TOCI authoring guidelines and project specific guidelines established by the Department of National Defence (DND)/Department of Defense (DOD) and Aviation Technology Association (ATA) specifications
Responsible for the translation of engineering drawings and BOM (bill of material) data into isometric technical illustrations and related illustrated parts lists
Use a variety of software products to review and incorporate legacy information into solid models and illustrations.
Communication:
