Re: Technical Illustration Job Board

So looks like the message got around to this one recruiter and I see a job here for Illustrator with a nice pay. Just thought I would share.
I still would like to push for 40 dollars an hour especially if we do 3D models.

http://www.jobstalker.net/JobDetail.asp ... 967061b7a9

I do like the Overtime offer that this could very well be a 90k job.

I would have taken it, but sense Im taking some engineering, and technician courses I think Ill have to pass for now. I think what Im doing now will increase my knowledge and in the long run make me more valuable

Re: Technical Illustration Job Board

looks like I got a responce for the Automation job. I guess taking courses in Mechatronics/Robotics/ Automation
are already paying off. Im still half way through the degree. now I come across making harsh choices in life. Do I trade up to a 75K job?
that would mean moving from Sacramento to Cunning Georgia, not so much of a problem pack up and go
what does get to me is Ill have to leave the school where Im taking the Mechatronics courses, Ill be leaving a job where I get 15% off the value of stock shares. The company is undervalued which is a good thing. I stand to make 300K if the stock ever reaches 40 dollars. right now the stock is valued at $5.8 a share. The copany that I work was aquired by a bigger company who once had a value of $400 a share, but sense that company baught out so many other small companys including the one im at now the value of that big company is now $5.8. From what Ive researched I can see the company on its current path bringing those shares up to at least 30 dollars a share.

At this new job in Georgia I would use more skills and practice learning the Mechatronics studies I have done so far, its quite a cunnundrum
Im at a cross road. Im at a point in life where Im transitioning from middle income to a 6 figure income. Ive had a 6 figure job and I learned some of the things I should have studied which is what Im doing right now.

Anyone have any advice? anyone ever have a big choice in life like this?

IM thinking of going through the interview and find out how much they will offer me and what exactly does the job entail.

Re: Technical Illustration Job Board

All,
My company, Space Systems Loral (SSL), is currently seeking two positions. We are looking for a current college student for an internship as well as a full-hire (applicant must be a recent college graduate). This is a great opportunity to work within an art department for a corporation in the space industry and if you know anyone that meets the qualifications listed in the applications, forward this to them.
For information and requirements for applicants please go to https://recruiting.adp.com/srccar/publi ... &c=1127407
Once at the career site, type in "Graphic Design" to pull up the two job requests for the internship and full-time positions.

Re: Technical Illustration Job Board

Hi Howard

any chance those Graphic design position been filled?
I'm still looking for work. I applied At Tesla and didn't pass the second interview.
I'm waiting on Siemens for working on medical devices.

But if there still interviewing for SSL, I wouldn't mind applying.
