I use the cloud for my adobe stuff

I currently was about to work on something and I ran into an issue, my line that I create with the pen tool wont change size to anything decimal

any ideas what maybe the problem?

When I start a new document there a check box at the bottom of the window called
"Align new objects to Pixel Grid" it was checked, when I unchecked it I was finally able to choose decimal pt.
can you believe it that one little check box, why oh why... the humanity. I read it somewhere in a forum with someone having lines skipping around on him so I tried it.

I lost 5 hours pondering about this issue today drove me crazy! I need to go and get some fresh air.
