Really awesome stuff, abrown and Don!

Wow, great work everyone. I really need to start learning 3d. I keep putting it off but I think it's about time.
Here's my latest work for the American Association of Osteopathic Surgeons. Ads that will be in a few political mags and in a couple airport dioramas I believe.
I love doing work like this.

I created this cutaway hub motor as part of a new tutorial that I released yesterday. It was a fun project. I hope that you like it.

I did up this mock ad for fun while experimenting with TurboCAD and Photoshop to create an illustration-like render. I was pleased with the results. I hope that you like it. Although I could have created the 3D model quite easily I took the easy way out and downloaded it from McMaster-Carr. I did add a bunch of fillets to give it some life, ortherwise it was pretty plain.

It is rare, if ever, these days to be able to post an updated version of my portfolio. Since the majority of my work falls under strict non-disclosure agreements and other federal and governmental laws, it is nice to have the occasional freelance job to add work to my illustration portfolio. Really sharp Steven! Drawing trains can never be viewed as having to do work.
How did you handle the fade-in from line to colour?
